Hamid Behrouz Pirnia was born in Tehran on 5 Bahman 1955 and graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Allameh Tabatabaei University. While studying and after completing his studies, he worked for 16 years at Kayhan newspaper as a reporter and then as a senior reporter and artistic and cultural secretary of Kayhan Hawai’i.
He emigrated to Germany with his family at the end of the 1960s.
His previous novel, “The Prisoner of the Campus,” was published by Gerdon Publishing in Berlin. “Oh… Lavender” is another of his novels, which was submitted to Forough Publishing in 2023. However,
at the same time and unfortunately, he passed away due to illness before the novel was published.
