Mehdi Akhavan Langroudi was born in 1324 in the city of Langroud. His father owned a tea factory. He spent his childhood, primary and secondary education in Langarud. After finishing high school in Langarud, he went to Tehran National University of Iran to continue his studies in sociology.
Mehdi Akhavan Langroudi died on June 26, 2016 due to a brain disease in Vienna, Austria. He was buried on Friday, June 14, 2016 in the central shrine of Vienna.
