Shapour Jurkesh is a contemporary Iranian literary critic, poet, translator and playwright, he was born on 10th of Bahman 1329 in Fasa city of Fars province. He continued his studies until receiving a master’s degree in English language and literature from Shiraz University. He taught at the university for a while until 1358.
