Janina Fisher, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is a member of the board of directors of the Trauma Research Foundation, a network for research into trauma treatments chaired by Bessel van der Kolk. In the past, she served as associate director of education for the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, supervisor for the EMDR International Association, lecturer at Harvard Medical School, and president of the New England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation. She is internationally known as an expert in the field of trauma treatment and is renowned for her expertise as a therapist and supervisor.
