Reza Daneshvar was born in 1326 in Mashhad.
He emigrated to France after the revolution in 1982. Daneshvar also continued to write outside of Iran. Khosrow Khooban’s novel, written with a view to the Iran-Iraq war, can be considered one of the most important novels in immigration literature. In the play The Traveler Nowhere, published in 2006, Daneshvar told the true story of an Iranian who lived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris for 18 years.
Reza Daneshvar died of lung cancer on the evening of June 27, 2015 at the age of 68 at the Albert Shanouyeh Hospital on the outskirts of Paris.
