This novel is about a girl named Naqhshineh, whose adolescence coincides with the Islamic Revolution. The story progresses with the turning points in her life. With the bonds of friendship, falling in love, being trapped in customs and traditions, marriage, childbirth, extramarital affairs, abortion and other events that show the process of forming her personality.

In the meantime, the impact of father’s relationships, mother’s encounters, society’s culture and complexes that drive choices and determine destinies are also discussed. Events that become the past over the years and can ruin tomorrow.

Naqshineh walks in the wounds of her heart. She grabs hold of her dreams and calls out for the things lost in her past. Finally, she realizes that the unchanging repetitions are just the swamp of relationships. She makes a decision. She accepts responsibility for her decisions and thinks about the reasons for her choices.
