Pooyan Moghaddassi is a writer, poet, and songwriter born in June 1982 in Tehran. He has published a collection of stories (The Busy Highway of Delshoure) in Morvarid Publishing House in Iran, a collection of poems (I Wish I Could Give Pomegranates) and a long story (Summer 65) in H&S Media Publishing House in London, and a play (As Seeing Words in the Face of Investigation) in Ronak Publishing House in the Netherlands. He has also been professionally active in the field of songwriting for many years, and numerous social and protest works of his have been composed, performed, and broadcast by various composers and singers inside and outside Iran. Moghaddisi currently resides in Vienna.
